I am a Rock !!!

I lived high, on a mountain,
I let go, and came tumbling down,
Touched the sky, conquered the raging river,
Passed thru the magestic forest,
Played with the animals there,
Contributed to the mightiest building.

But I lay now by the road,
Dusty and dirty
The sun heats me, the night cools me
The wind can't soothe me,
The rain can't drown me.
I lay there, numb, stationary, cold
waiting my turn to be a part of the earth again.

Something to last forever...

what is forever?

I wonder...
a day, a month, a year...
memories, gifts, love, friendship...
everything is forever

a moment is forever...
it happens once, and remains the same,
till eternity.
untouched, unspoilt, pure...

I give you the moments we spent together,
so that you each time you live it,
you can be with me,
in my small little world.
there you will be forever.

Always...

There she is,
I see her through the window,
Her baby in her hand,
She's playing, she's smiling
A mother's joy, so heavenly
comes a man, to complete the picture
... a family
I smile, a tear rolls down
and, say I, to myself...
I wish I was that man.

I turn around, back to my path
She isn't with me, but will always
carry her love in my heart.
